It All Begins Here

Whether you have a question, an idea, or just want to say hello, we will be offering Improv I this spring, running on Saturdays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm starting on April 18 and ending on June 20, and the cost is $250.‍ ‍Our courses are appropriate for those 15+ and will take you from the basic skills of inspiring spontaneous creation to full-fledged group storytelling and scene work. Bent Theatre's Improv I class focuses primarily on improv as a comedy, performing short-form and theater games, but there is so much more to it than that. During our classes, you will learn to:

• Embrace spontaneity and extemporaneous creation.

• Develop theater performance skills.

• Improve your public speaking and storytelling skills.

• Hone your comedic wit and timing

• Collaborate with other performers and polish teamwork skills.

• Polish your storytelling

• Become different characters through voice, physicality, and personality

• Conquer your fear of the unknown

• Make something from nothing

• Play games and embrace your inner child
